Boy Sopranos: Christo, Moses, Sabian

Pertama kali denger mereka nyanyi itu di Kompas TV, sebenernya sampe sekarang juga selalu denger di Kompas TV sih. Kok kayaknya di stasiun TV lain kayak RCTI, SCTV, dsb, gitu jarang liat ya?

Jadi Boy Sopranos ini ternyata adalah proyeknya Erwin & Gita Gutawa. Pantes aja warna dan teknik suaranya ngga sembarangan. Genre yang mereka bawa adalah Classical Pop, dengan register suara Sopran, yang belakangan saya tau sering dikenal juga dengan istilah “Angel Voice” karena warna suaranya merdu banget kayak suara malaikat (emang pernah denger suara malaikat?).

Beda banget dengan trend musik anak-anak jaman sekarang yang bersliweran di TV, mereka ngakunya bukan boyband tapi Trio Choir atau kelompok vokal yang ngga pake jingkrak-jingkrak berjoget, tapi murni bernyanyi. Dan prinsip yang saya suka dari mereka adalah

Kelompok ini kan bukan untuk bersaing, kami hanya ingin bernyanyi, jadi kami yakin saja bahwa kami bisa diterima di industri musik Indonesia

OVH Kimsufi GeoVKS Server Review

Kemarin baru dapet 1 VPS dari OVH / Kimsufi, jenisnya Micro GeoVKS dengan datacentre saya pilih di Hongkong. Untuk sementara saya jadiin home server untuk blog ini.

Performance kayaknya ngga begitu bagus, kalo diliat di hasil HTTP test Pingdom dari yang tadinya response time rata-rata 500~600 milliseconds sekarang jadi di atas 1.500 milliseconds(!). Padahal konfigurasi server ini adalah replika dari server sebelumnya.

Mungkin yang jadi bottleneck di CPU, karena untuk performance network cukup bagus:
